You are planning an eight-day vacation to a location of your choice and have decided to enlist the help of an associate who has just launched a business as a freelance travel agent. You provide your associate with information about your vacation plans in an e-mail. Follow the steps below to write an e-mail requesting information.

1. Complete the table below with information about your vacation plans

2. In Outlook, create a signature block using your personal contact information.

3. Start a new e-mail message and include an appropriate subject line.

4. Enter a salutation that includes your associate’s name.

5. Using the format you learned in this project, write the text of the e-mail in three to four paragraphs. Include all the information your associate will need to book your trip. Make sure you leave a blank line between each paragraph. Include a bulleted list if appropriate.

6. Include an appropriate closing.

7. Use the PrntScrn key to record a picture of the Outlook screen and then paste it in a Word document, type your name below the screen in Word, save the document as Vacation Plans E-mail, print a copy, close the document, and then exit Word.

8. Save a draft of the e-mail in Outlook so you can open it again if you need to make changes, and then close the e-mail.

9. Delete the signature block, and then exit Outlook.
