You have been recently appointed as the New CEO in an ICT Consultancy Firm in Pretoria. Upon your arrival, the employees complained of the previous CEO, whose leadership style they experienced as autocratic as he never consulted the employees on matters affecting them. The previous CEO unilaterally took decisions without consultation with the relevant stakeholders. In addition to the above, the employees presented to you a grievance letter indicating they are planning to embark on strike action because of poor salaries and the non- payment of other fringe benefits. Thirdly, as the New CEO, you have realised that because of the Covid-19 Pandemic, it is no longer possible for the employees to come to the office because of physical distancing and other precautionary measures to be followed to prevent the spread of the virus. In light of the above situation:

Discuss how you would manage and lead the employees and teams virtually, to ensure the Firm achieves its goals and objectives. This includes the management of teams that are in different geographical locations.
